Khaki Queen

Khaki Queen

Green is such a fashion statement. And yet it has been all over the recent fashion weeks with every blogger and their dog rocking the green trend. Khaki has transitioned from being a colour nobody wore, to dominating the catwalks. No Pinterest scroll would be complete without having something khaki coloured pop up. It is certainly a trend many people have jumped on, including me.

I picked up this oversized khaki shirt dress at a local discount store. The tag had been cut out so I’m not 100% sure where it’s from. I have, however seen many all over the internet and there is a very similar one on Missguided. Typically I style my shirt with a pair of highwaisted blue jeans and some nude shoes. As you all know my go to jeans are from New Look and have lasted me ages. As for shoes, I either go for flats or heels. My favourite nude flats are from M&S and my favourite heels are from Tesco. It really shows that you don’t need to spend lots of money to look nice.

The shirt itself was only £6 which in my opinion is a bargain and as for the rest of my outfit, my jeans were £9 and my shoes were £4/£10. So at the most you are looking at around £25. Can’t you tell I love a good bargain!

With the dress I also like rolling up the sleeves and pairing it with my Olivia Burton watch, find my review of that here. It looks so effortlessly cute and especially coming into summer you could add a pair of sunglasses and be ready to go!

The rest of this post is just showing you how I styled my khaki shirt dress – enjoy!! Let me know what you think 🙂
