Just thought I would share my opinion on last nights BRIT awards ceremony. It was great!!! Ant and Dec were great presenters and everyone who won awards definitely deserved them. Being a self confessed ‘swiftie'(Taylor Swift fan) I was so happy to see that Taylor won the best international artist award she definitely deserves it. Congrats on your first of many to come BRIT awards Taylor!! Some other notable achievements were Ed Sheeran winning two awards as did Sam Smith. However the night wasn’t all fun for everyone. The 57 year old singer Madonna had a bit of what you would call ‘wardrobe malfunction’ she was wisked backwards when her cape failed to release from around her neck. Oops!! But luckily she was ok!
Overall the night was a great success and many people we recognised for what they do best!! I can’t wait for next years awards!

My face tends to be quite sensitive and I can hardly ever find a face wash, moisturiser, cleanser and toner that doesn’t bring me out in a large red rash across my face and is a reasonable price. Then I found simple products.
It was actually my auntie who first gave me some simple products, she had seen them on offer and thought I might like to give them a go because they work well for her. So, I tried them. It was amazing, the face wash wasn’t harsh on my face and the moisturiser didn’t make my face feel greasy or clogged.
Last week, I noticed that the simple purifying cleanser and toner were available. I have used cleanser and toner before but it was my mums and it was really expensive so I thought I would buy my own that I know will agree with my sensitive skin. These two products when used in conjunction with each other, work wonders. It is great for taking any trace of make up left on your skin from the day and they make my skin feel smooth and soft.
I also like the fact that simple products have so many vitamins in them, that are good for your skin. Overall, Simple products are simply amazing and I can’t wait to try more products and see how it goes.

Recently, I was privileged enough to visit Berlin for a 4 day cultural trip. I enjoyed every minute of it. We visited many of the tourist type places such as the fernsehturm (TV tower) and Check point Charlie. Before visiting Germany’s capital I knew next to nothing about World War 2, but I learnt so much whilst I was on this trip. As well as the historical side I really enjoyed practising my German in Berlin. I used to live in Germany so I had a little bit of understanding already, I had never been to Northern Germany so it was a new experience for me.
One of the highlights was definitely going up the TV tower, the view from the top was great and we could see for miles ahead of us. I also enjoyed the river cruise we went on. A pre recorded tape told us all about what was around us in both English and German which meant I could practice my listening skills
I stayed in a room with some friends who had never been to Germany before. We switched on the TV in our room and put some cartoons on in the hope that we might hear some words that were familiar to us and the first thing we heard was “AUF WIEDERSEHEN DIE KATZE!” and so it kind of became the motto of the trip.
Overall I thought Berlin is an amazing city and there is always something to do or see. I would definitely recommend you visit if you haven’t already.
