Chia Seed and Flaxseed Crackers

In this post I will give you all the essential ingredients and cooking temperatures you will need to make these crackers. They are a great healthy snack that will fill you up for longer and work perfectly with Philadelphia or Humous. If you try them make sure to send me a photo.

  • 1/4 cup Chia Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 steel cut oats
  • 2 table spoons flax seed/ linseed
  • 1/4 cup spelt flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon virgin olive oil

To make the crackers, you need to add all of the ingredients into a metal bowl. I prefer to add all of the dry ingredients first and then the wet ingredient however this doesn’t alter the taste.
Next leave the mixture for 30 minutes for the chia seeds to absorb, then roll out onto a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 150c for around 40-60 minutes or until dried out.
Once baked let the crackers sit for a few minutes before serving and store in an air tight container.
